Home School Sewing Program: Level 1 Certificate Course
Hands-On Learning, Creative Confidence, & Real-World Skills!
Looking for a unique, skill-building elective for your homeschooler? Enroll your student in our semester-long sewing program, a fun, interactive course that blends creativity with practical knowledge! Over 16 engaging classes (3 hours each), students will earn half a school credit and a Level 1 Sewing Certificate, all while building lifelong skills.
Through guided instruction and hands-on practice, students will:
- Learn sewing machine parts & maintenance
- Master safe tool handling and beginner techniques
- Read and draft sewing patterns
- Complete 7+ creative projects: bookmark, apron, tote bag, zippered pouch, quilt block, upcycled shirt, and a final “design-your-own” creation!
Whether your student dreams of becoming a designer or just wants to make cool stuff, this course provides the foundation to grow their confidence, independence, and technical sewing skills.
Ages: 8 years old thru High School | No experience needed
