Design an embroidered picture from the background to the foreground without coordinates. Students will practice perspective, alignment, and use of the tools available on the machine. This class is open to all who own machines with precise placement, perfect placement, and/or similar tools. This is an advanced class. Student must have basic knowledge of how the placement tools work on his/her machine.

Step out of box to create a picture of a flower that develops the techniques of thread painting and application of beads. It?s so much fun to be your own designer.

Basic Sewing is an ongoing class that meets on Monday nights. It's a class for beginners just learning to use a sewing machine or for intermediates who just need a little help with a project. Projects vary from simple clothing to quilting to home d'cor items such as pillows or simple curtains. It's a little different mix every week but always entertaining. The only rule is to have fun!

We explore the various modules, wizards and features within the Premier+2 Ultra Software. Each month we will spotlight one or two modules, wizards, or techniques as we investigate the "in's and it's" of this wonderful software as we design a small project which can be stitched out at home.

We are continuing to work on Free as a Bird -- featuring playful and ?as quirky as you want to make them? birdhouses. This month we?ll focus on finishing the machine applique and putting it all together. It?s not too late to start this fun project. Learn to make simple freezer paper templates to make the roofs of the fun pieced birdhouses and how to use the built-in stitches on your machine for the applique work. We?ll give you some homework to catch up.
