Basic Sewing is an ongoing class that meets on Monday nights. It's a class for beginners just learning to use a sewing machine or for intermediates who just need a little help with a project. Projects vary from simple clothing to quilting to home d'cor items such as pillows or simple curtains. It's a little different mix every week but always entertaining. The only rule is to have fun!

Our new project Stylin? Great Granny is a modern twist on a traditional pattern. We?ve made the block with contemporary fabrics to show how the fabric choices totally change the look of the project and we?ve set the blocks on point for another variation on the classic look. The supply list also shows three size options and samples of the block in vintage inspired fabrics for the traditional look and in batik fabrics for another beautiful alternative.

We will be creating a 36" x 36" wall hanging with blocks embroidered in the hoop.
