Basic Sewing

Is an ongoing class that meets on Monday nights from 6 to 9 pm. It's a class for beginners just learning to use a sewing machine or for intermediates who just need a little help with a project. Some students will be working on clothing, some on home decor (pillows, curtains, etc.) and some on quilting projects. We will often have a couple of beginners along with some students who just want a little help deciphering those confusing directions and a few students who just enjoy being able to work on a project in a fun atmosphere. It's a little different mix every week but always entertaining education.

Quarter Quilts

Is a monthly class that usually meets on the first Thursday evening (6-9pm) and the first Saturday morning (10am-1pm) of each month (unless we run into holidays or quilt shows). Students may attend either session (or both, if desired). Our goal is to work on a different project each quarter. This year we've been making stash-friendly quilts to help everyone clear out the old to make room for new! While the class is aimed at having everyone work on the same pattern, some students have chosen to do something a little different. As always, everyone is welcome as long as we have space. The goal is to enjoy making fun and beautiful quilts while enjoying this fun group!

Third Friday Fun

Is a drop in class that meets on the third Friday of each month (6-9pm). This is a time for students to get help with any sewing project that they happen to be working on. It's a great time to make up a missed class or just to enjoy a fun Friday night sewing with the girls. 1 on 1 machine lessons: a sewing machine lesson is a great way to get to know your machine and help you learn all the vital and important ins and outs of your sewing machine. You will find yourself better prepared to sew all the great projects that you have in mind if you are familiar with the unique tools and features of your sewing machine. A sewing machine lesson will enable you to use your sewing machine successfully and to its fullest potential.
