    Isador and Lou Grome begin G&G Sewing and introduce San Antonio to the world's first Zig Zag sewing machine.

  • 1958

    Lou's son Richard Grome joins the team and the name was changed to Grome's Sewing Machine Company.

  • 1978

    Grome's moves to it's present location at 4719 Manitou.

  • 1984

    Richard's daughter Cyndi Grome joins the team.
